Cold Spring Village

This is our new “clubhouse” in Cape May.

Archie and his staff do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfasts are absolutely fabulous (decadent French toast, pineapple crumble, Cape May Eggs … just leave your calorie counter at home!) and tea in the afternoon (a fresh baked good, a savory snack, and tea and wine) is always a welcome break in the day. Rooms are pretty without being fussy and the location is great.

Cape May, NJ Attractions

Reserve a room at our Cape May inn, where you will enjoy lovely, antique filled rooms, among our famed Victorian architecture.

In keeping with the historic architecture and history of the area, be sure to visit Historic Cold Spring Village NJ. Just 3 miles north of Cape May on Route 9. This living history museum is based on the daily life of 19th century settlers of this area whose goal was to live in harmony with the environment.

View interactive exhibits where craftspeople in authentic attire demonstrate a way of life from this bygone era. You can watch the local blacksmith using authentic tools, view weavers, spinners, potters, broom makers and more as they perform daily activities of the 19th century.

Cold Spring Village offers great activities for kids. They can try on authentic costumes, make crafts and play games.

Great location

Just returned from a couple of nights at The Bedford Inn in Cape May. Great location: easy walk to the restaurants in town, and about a block from the beach. We appreciated being able to use beach chairs and beach towels from the Inn. Our room was clean and charming. Archie makes a delicious breakfast and we loved coming back to the inn after an afternoon on the beach to fresh lemonade and homemade cookies!
