Cape May features a few unique places to play a round at!
First is the Cape May National Golf Course, nicknamed “The Natural” for its location and design: surrounding a 50-acre bird sanctuary, it was built to have the least amount of environmental impact while still delivering a challenge to its players. As a result there are no houses, highways or other unnatural distractions…but there are still plenty of unusual fairway layouts and water hazards to contend with! It was voted “Best of Shore” by Atlantic City Magazine and one of the Top 50 Places to Play in America by Golf Digest for Women.
A less demanding option is the Cape May Par 3 Golf Course, an interesting 18-hole round where every hole is a par 3. This course is meant to be more on the fun than challenging side, but pros accompanying their families are sure to find plenty of opportunities to practice their short game and accurate shots.
And, if you’d like to play as much Cape May golf as possible during your stay, Stone Harbor Golf Club is just a short drive away. This course has an unusual twist: each of its 18 holes represent a figure or event in Greek mythology, and were designed in a special, individual way to provide a different overall game rhythm.
